To my Dad, Nick Athas, and each of his brothers, Bill, Angelo and Sam, who were WWII veterans, I salute you. To my cousin, Jimmy Psalidas, who inspired me to play guitar and to Larry Samford who wrote and sang amazing music with me...I am honored to have known you. Each and every man was a man of character.
